Unparalleled views of the Front Range are waiting around every bend, and Arvada is quickly becoming the suburb to beat when it comes to amenities, conveniences, and location! From the 600+ classes offered by the Arvada Center, to the Apex Center’s indoor water park, skating rinks and workout options, Arvada’s residents have made quality of life a priority for many years, and it shows in the city’s infrastructure: a brand new state-of-the-art library, a town square featuring regular events, and a recreation district (North Jeffco) that is unmatched in Colorado, Arvada is the perfect place to raise (and entertain) a family.

Recreational Opportunities are Unlimited...

Arvada has miles of biking and walking trails which wind through greenbelts, neighborhoods, open space and parks.  Playgrounds can be found in every neighborhood, along with swimming pools and recreation centers. Indian Tree is a great public golf course located just off of 80th and Wadsworth, and the Indian Tree Clubhouse offers one of the tastiest lunch menus in town.  Grab a beer after 18 holes, and enjoy the view from the patio, it’s the perfect end to an affordable day on the greens.

Education Options

Part of the Jefferson County school district, Arvada’s schools test among the highest in the State, and also offer many alternatives, including charter schools, private schools, and  early learning programs for every type of student.

Arvada is also central to several Community Colleges and Universities.

Shopping Opportunities

Within a few minutes north of Central Arvada, there are several shopping options.  Flatirons Crossing offers both indoor and outdoor shopping in a lovely setting – from the three story waterfall out front to the giant sandbox and indoor playground in the back, it’s possible to spend an entire day at Flatirons shopping, dining and playing.  From there it’s a quick 10 minute drive to Boulder and all it has to offer.

If you head west out of Arvada, you’ll find Colorado Mills, which houses hundreds of outlet stores, an indoor playground, and a large food court complete with carousel.  Colorado Mills also has sit-down restaurants, massage chairs, plenty of room for kids to run off steam while you run errands.  With a Super Target inside the mall, you really can do all of your shopping under this very large roof!
