area insider information

Park hill

Park Hill is one of the most beautiful, and popular, neighborhoods in Denver proper. With prices ranging from $200,000 to more than $2 million, Greater Park Hill is surprisingly diverse. You'll typically find brownstones and Denver Squares in this area, with a sprinkling of brand new architecture built with this area's rich history in mind.

Three miles from the Central Business District and primarily residential, Denver's Park Hill neighborhood begins just east of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Colorado Boulevard to Quebec Street and from Colfax Avenue to as far north as 52nd Avenue. Montview Boulevard, developed in 1882, and Monaco Parkway are main thoroughfares and typify the wide, tree-lined neighborhood streets. Park Hill's nationally recognized neighborhood organization sponsors an annual tour of the many historic homes in this welcoming community, as well as provides other community service to support the diverse residents of Greater Park Hill.

With easy access to Cherry Creek and Downtown Denver, as well as Denver International Airport and both I-25 and I-70, Park Hill is a desirable location for some of Denver's most elite residents, including Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper.

Property values in this area have remained solid even through the Mortgage Meltdown, and there aren't many foreclosures on the market within Park Hill.
